We remember...

Year six have written poems relating to their topic work on 'What was here before?'. They have learned about what life was like during World War 2 and used this knowledge to empathise with soldiers and evacuees and written poems that share these emotions and explore the five senses of taste, touch, smell, hearing and sight. We are pleased to say we have now displayed our work at local libraries. 6AS and 6XCO poems are displayed at Bournemouth Library (on the triangle), 6EG poems are in Charminster library and 6LM poems are in Winton Library. We would love it if lots of people went to view our work and left us your thoughts about it.

Below are some photos of what our displays look like.

Well done all in Year 6, such lovely poems and handwriting, very moving!
