On returning to school, after the half term break, the children in Reception found a Bog Baby in the garden!
They took him inside and began to look after him. They have also been learning the story of the Bog Baby, who is found in a bluebell wood and gets taken home by some little girls. Unfortunately the Bog Baby gets sick, the children are trying to work out why this happens and how we can look after living things.
The children have done some fantastic writing with both their teacher and also independently about the Bog Baby.
They have also been getting crafty and making the Bog Baby out of playdough and cut and stick resources. This is helping their fine motor skills along with developing their art skills.
